A FESTIVAL OF DECORATED CHRISTMAS TREES
The festival is growing in popularity every year... A great community event!
Christmas Trees of all shapes and sizes... Each with a different theme of your own choice, whether it’s traditional or fun doesn’t matter.
How the competition works
Each tree will have a name and a number. The number will be allocated by St. Hilda’s on entry and a name plate will be made to place beside each tree. St Hilda’s will make the name plate.
The number will be used by the visitors when choosing their favourite tree.
Each category (Individual, group, etc) will have a winner.
Trees are to be taken away after the Festival and perhaps put to good use in a shop window, a classroom, at home or work place.
The fee to enter a tree in the festival is £10.
All proceeds to help St Hilda’s Church funds.
The Church will be open to receive or decorate trees from ... tba
Carol Singing surrounded by the trees, on Saturday Evening at 5pm
The winning tree will be announced during the carol singing.
How to enter
If you would like to enter a Decorated Christmas please put the following information on a piece of paper, and pass it to any member of the Church, or post it through the Church letterbox (on Thornleigh Road, Jesmond, opposite Starbucks).
